Basic Operation:

Operation is fast & simple with minimal user input required:

1. Power on the duplicator (the unit automatically performs self diagnostic test)
2. Insert master (material to be duplicated) CD or DVD into DVD ROM.
3. Insert blank CDR or DVDR into CD / DVD writer(s).
4. Press “copy”
5. Written CDR or DVDR will be auto-ejected at end of run
6. THAT’S IT!!!
7. To make more copies simply insert more blank CDR or DVDR into CD / DVD writer(s), the duplicator will automatically do the rest.
8. If a different master CD or DVD is to be used repeat steps 2 to 4.

What\'s the difference?

CD duplication is the copying of data from one disc to another through the process of burning, especially in large commercial quantities.

Though many people use the terms duplication and replication interchangeably, there are gross differences between the two. Though both processes transfer information onto CDs or DVDs, duplication is the process of burning dots that mimic what we call pits onto a CD surface and is normally undertaken by Duplication Companies. The device which does the burning is called a burner can be inexpensively found on home PCs.

CD replication on the other hand obtains an imprint from a glass master and stamps the data in binary form ontp the disc. In duplication, the duplicate is of the same or inferior quality as the original. No attempt is made to change the quality or constitution of the data transferred. CD Duplication is also cheap to do and therefore the favorite of computer enthusiasts who don\'t have the large budget to do replication.
